So I've been thinking about getting a new tattoo for a while now, and I've decided on a swallow, black & grey, on my left side, on my ribs just under my bra/bikini... I've been debating this for a year or so... Unlike my first tattoo which I bunked off school to get, and chose on the day what I thought was a very original Chinese symbol on my hip (thankfully I have now had that laser removed... haha see mum, tattoo's don't have to last forever)
But anyway... my lovely friend Carl has sort of photoshopped the design I want onto a pic of me to give a rough idea how it'll look (see below) The swallow pic underneath is a close up of the design I'm thinking of... Feel free to encourage or try and talk me out of it...

Weakness for Hot Guys with Tattoos
Much to the disapproval of my mother... but there is definitely something about ink on a toned body...

INKED
One of my favourite artists works not only with a brush and canvas but with an electric needle and human skin... nothing horrific... I'm talking about tattoos!
Angelique Houtkamp is a foxy blond, walking, talking pin up girl from Amsterdam covered head to toe in tattoos. Creator of an impressive collection of tattoo style water colour paintings, two published picture books "Tattoo Darling" and "Tattoo Mystique" and her new Line Drawing Book (more specifically for tattoo artists). Her work is instantly recognisable for it's simplistic take on classic pin up style tattoos with, in my opinion, a slightly burlesque vibe. Either way her designs would look equally becoming hanging on a wall as they would on the arm of a buff sailor...
