Spread a little LOVE

With Valentines day just around the corner I thought I'd share a little Love in the form of all the wonderful LOVE magazine covers. I "Love" that each issue is available with multiple cover model options, with all these beauties it's hard to believe this relatively young magazine is only just printing their 7th Issue... Hot off the Press and available very soon with the beautiful Linda Evangelista on the cover.

Today I'm wearing...

I'd really like to start doing a "Today I'm wearing" feature on my blog but seriously in this FREEZING weather, fashion takes a back seat to pure layers... feeling a bit like the episode from Friends where Joey puts on all Chandlers clothes "Could I BE wearing anymore clothes" haha Brrrr...

Yep all the cool kids are getting involved with H&M these days. I previewed the latest Versace collection in Selfridges last weekend... the prints were nice but the fabric reflected the price tag, but hey... the label said Versace and I'm sure that will do it for some.

Punky Hair

It's kinda ironic I'm writing about this, as I tend to play it very safe with my hair... After an incident with "Sun-In" aged 11, followed by a rather dramatic Princess Diana style hair cut (not out of choice... My mum made me have it all cut off to teach me a lesson for messing with my long dark hair... which I unfortunately and accidentally turned a frazzled yellow) I have been a little afraid of hairdressers so my locks have stayed fairly long and dark ever since... trademark look ;)

However I do have a huge amount of admiration for girls who are somewhat chameleon-like with their tresses... and I'm finding myself a little enchanted by punky bright colours at the moment!

Jean Paul Gaultier's spring 2012 haute couture show, was a refined a collection of tailored jackets, form-fitting skirts and bustiers in somber blacks with splashes of citrus and lime to reveal lacy undergarments, silk dresses and belted waists in a tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse. Models even wore Winehouse’s signature beehive and had cigarettes in hand as they strutted down the runway with the singer’s tunes playing in the background.

Coffeeholic

Getting a little bit addicted to coffee... weird seeing as I didn't used to like it! I used to get hot chocolate from Starbucks and walk round London sipping my paper cup because I thought the other girls drinking their coffee in the mornings looked cool *giggle cringe*... Now I am IN the coffee club... I'm still somewhat of a coffee novice and prefer a sweet gimmicky latte to anything too strong, but I'm defo starting to feel the grip of a caffeine craving... I want this sweater (below) from Wildfox haha!

Dream big...

Ambition is a wonderful thing, never be afraid to chase your dreams, you only regret the chances in life you didn't take so aim high, the sky's the limit...
